Wolves rarely come into Anchorage, though they do harrass dogs running with joggers at Fort Rich next door. They don’t hurt the dogs, they just let them know who’s boss.
On the backside of the tile image above, the date constantly changes. Pretty much everything I make sells in the same year that I make it. The main ingredient in my tile clay is the Bootlegger Cove Clay, and it is the clay formation underlying all of Anchorage at varying thicknesses and depths.
The “Silver Hand Artist” stamp on the backside means I’m registered with the state of Alaska as a native Alaskan artist.
